Lager Ba'Omer 5779
Thursday, May 23, 2019 • 18 Iyyar 5779
7:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Beer festival + Lag Ba'Omer = Lager Ba'Omer, now in our 6th year, is a Sixth Street Synagogue tradition and a great time for all craft beer enthusiasts and students of Beer Yochai.
Cost of Admission: One six pack (or growler) of craft or premium import beer gets you a small tasting glass and unlimited pours (while supplies last). Just don't bring any bad beer. We're sort of serious. Do not bring anything on the official prohibited beers list. Also, keep it kosh. Nothing too complicated. If you have any questions, contact rabbi@sixthstreetsynagogue.org
Your beers will be judged by our Tribeernal. The best beer from each category will be selected. If you brought it, then you will receive a prize and the respect of your shul.

2) PALE ALE: American Pale Ale / IPA / DIPA

Where to Get Good Beer
There are a variety of great places to get beer in NYC. A few in the East Village that are worth checking out include:
1. Westside Market (3rd Avenue & 12th Street - Mark & Martin are particularly helpful!)
2. Good Beer (422 East 9th Street)
3. Whole Foods on Houston (95 East Houston)
4. Some Good Beer (9 East 8th Street)
