Summary |
Yom Kippur begins tonight.
Please help us with our Mincha Minyan today 2:30 PM.
At Kol Nidrei Rabbi Bellino will be asking for your financial assistance. The quick version is that running our synagogue, despite our significant membership and despite our very modest and careful spending, is a very expensive project and this year we need your support more than ever. May the great significance of Yom Kippur, the astounding beauty with which it is observed in our synagogue, and the vital role that our synagogue plays in Downtown Manhattan inspire your continued generosity. You can donate through our website or - if you prefer - through venmo (@sixthstreetsynagogue).
The seating for Yom Kippur is complete. We have made every effort to preserve your regular seats. Please familiarize yourselves with the map so that you may find your seats efficiently. Click here for the seating assignments and map.
We are grateful to Adina Lichtman of Knock Knock Give a Sock who has arranged for the preparation of sandwiches during the break. These sandwiches will be distributed at local homeless shelters. This project has been sponsored by Yesul Lee & Yoav Shaked in loving memory of Sara Dueñas ז"ל.
We thank Shira Bergstein & Dina Schorr who have sponsored our Grab & Go Break Fast. Expect tables of bottled beverages and bagged snacks as you exit the synagogue tomorrow night.
