PURIM IS TONIGHT!

Purim is Tonight! We'd like to give you some sense of the schedule, as well as some important Purim charity and sponsorship opportunities.

Ta'anit Esther: The fast generally concludes at 7:38 PM. Of course, the force of law is (barely) Rabbinic, so the fast may be broken at Sunset (7:07 PM) should you experience discomfort. We will daven Mincha together at 6:35 PM.

Purim Night: Wednesday night, March 20th - Maariv and Megillah will begin at 7:30 PM, which will be followed immediately by our Purim Party.
We look forward to our friends from the University of Purim joining us at approximately 10:00 PM. The party will end at some point before morning services.

Purim Day: Thursday, March 21st - We will return on Thursday morning for Shacharit at 7:30 AM, with Megilla at 8:00 AM.

Please consider helping us with our Purim Chaos, as well as participating in our Purim Charity Campaign.

  • Our yearly Purim Chaos would not be anywhere near as chaotic, were it not for the support of our Fryre Starters: Avi Beluca, Dina Benzaquen & Kenny Canfield, Dr. Jeremy Block, Jane & Drore Eisen, Agita Jaber & Jonathan Falik, Kristina & Daniel Gerschel, Kenneth Grumer, Jason Hagler, Arezoo & Samuel Jesselson, Michael Mitzner, Suzanne Dance & Andrew Obin, Rapid Motion Techonology, Cori Robinson, PLLC , Nathaniel Rosen, Allan Avi Rosenberg, Michael Sarid & Alan Schwartz, Ean Seinfeld, Mindy & Michael Turk, Shelly & Elie Yudewitz.

We are also grateful to Vivian & Arthur Klaus for their donation of toys in honor of the first birthday of their granddaughter, Vivian Rose.

It's not too late to be a sponsor! We've greatly increased our supply of Megillot for Purim and we'd love to have sponsors for them. For just $100, you can sponsor 20 Megillot. To sponsor, please go to our
Donation page (in the notes section, please mention this is for Megillat Esther sponsorship).

  • Purim Charity: Matanot L'evyonim is arguably the most important Mitzvah of Purim. This year, we are again proud to partner with Rabbi Zvi Romm of the Bialystoker Synagogue, Rabbi Joe Wolfson of JLIC-NYU and the NYU community, the Masbia Soup Kitchen Network, as well as Knock Knock Give a Sock, in providing gifts to those in the region who truly need our assistance.
