Dear friends,
With a new fiscal year having begun on June 1st, it is once again time for us to encourage membership - to ask that you formalize and renew your annual commitments to our synagogue.
We continue to experience a growing community, delicious kiddushes, meaningful services, insightful classes, festive parties, engaging children’s programming, and respected and inspiring speakers. We continue to make essential repairs and aesthetic improvements to our 173 year old building. We are most grateful to the many of you who have stepped up to join our leadership, attend our services, contribute financially, strengthen our community through your presence, and make our synagogue a true center of thoughtful Orthodox Judaism.
Membership dues go a long way in making all of this possible. Won’t you please share in our great legacy and help us continue this impressive revitalization? There are, of course, various membership options and we hope that one works for you.
With increased operating costs, including security, we are forced to raise the membership dues for the coming year. If you renew your membership though before June 30th, you can still pay at last year's rate.
Membership Level | Before June 30 | After June 30 |
Family (Includes 2 RH/YK Tickets) | $900 | $1000 |
Individual (Includes 1 RH/YK Ticket) | $500 | $550 |
Associate | $300 | $300 |
Student | $150 | $150 |
You can also Venmo us @sixthstreetsynagogue, or mail a check to 325 East 6th Street, New York, NY 10003.
- Should you prefer, membership payments may be made in installments. You can easily arrange this through our website or with the help of our office.
- If you have recently paid membership, please ignore this request. If you - for whatever reason - generally pay membership at another time of the year, you may continue to do so, or you may pay now and preserve the old rate.
- If you are having financial difficulty meeting the membership dues obligations, please contact our Rabbi or Treasurer to discuss alternate financial arrangements. All conversations will be kept completely confidential.
Thank you for being a part of our great success,
Elie Yudewitz, President
