Community News

In these tragic and scary times we stand with Israel and all those victimized by senseless hatred and fanaticism. We pray for safety, healing, and peace. Please join us at all of our services for our recitations of additional Psalms.

We wish a Mazal Tov to Vivian & Arthur Klaus upon the engagement of their son, Ryan, to Marlowe Dayon.

We wish a Mazal Tov to Rebekah & Max Tokatlilar upon their wedding this past Sunday.

We wish a Mazal Tov to Jessica & Eric Kivelevitz upon their wedding this past Sunday.

We wish a Mazal Tov to our teacher, Gilah Kletenik, upon her marriage to Samuel Klein, which also took place this past Sunday.

Friday night services are at 5:10 PM. Please help us to ensure that our service begins on time. Expect to be rewarded with snacks, drinks, as well as some Torah study and song.

CholentFest 2016 is here! During Shabbat Kiddush, a talented group of chefs will challenge last year's winner of the CholentFest Eydel Ladle, Rhonda Malkin, and People's Choice winner, Phyllis Liberman. Your role is to come taste all the delicious cholents. Please see our website for more information. This is NOT a cholent eating contest.

There are 33 days until Purim. Stay tuned.

Our plentiful and delicious Kiddushes on Sixth Street greatly enhance our synagogue and community. To sponsor or co-sponsor a Friday night Kiddush, a Shabbat Kiddush, a Shabbocktail, our Shabbeer supply, or a Seudah Shelishit, contact Rabbi Bellino.

The next available kiddush is March 19th.

We are looking for additional support staff. Do you know someone with strong computer and organizational skills who can work 15-20 hours a week? Contact info@sixthstreetsynagogue.org.
