Post-Yom-Kippur Thank Yous

Greetings Friends,   Thank You. Yom Kippur on Sixth Street was a wonderful success. More than 300 people - vaccinated and masked - were welcomed over the course of the day. Services were beautiful and efficient.    I am especially grateful to our cantors, Meir Shapiro and Neil Kitainik for their beautiful and perfectly-timed davening. They skillfully and precisely moved text along as they moved us, inspiring us with beautiful and thoughtful moments of prayer and song.   I also thank Jonathan Falik for his Torah reading, Choni Bellino and Elie Yudeiwtz for their ushering and gabbaing, (also) Choni Bellino for his help in setting up the sanctuary, and Vincenzo Aiosa and staff for their hard work in preparing and maintaining our building.   At Kol Nidrei - I spoke about aspirational Teshuva, more specifically,  our personal and congregational dreams of improvement.
