Mikveh, Halacha, and Mental Health: A Discussion with Yoetzet Shiffy Friedman
Tuesday, November 19, 2019 • 21 Marcheshvan 5780
7:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Join Yoetzet Halacha Shiffy Friedman and Tali Zilberman, LMSW, for an intimate, open conversation on Mikveh, Halacha and Mental Health. Topics include common questions about the Mikveh, the intersection of anxiety and other mental health concerns with Taharat Mishpacha, its impact on relationships and how to utilize professional and halachic resources when approaching these challenges.
This a great opportunity to connect with our Yoetzet, who is available to speak and advise with women in the downtown Jewish community year round.
Please come with any questions you might have, and feel free to submit anonymous questions at nycyoetzet@gmail.com ahead of the discussion. This event is open to married and unmarried women.
Pizza and wine will be served.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
