We will convene a 2:00 PM Mincha today (Tuesday) afternoon. If you are in the area, please support this minyan.

 
To ease your fast, please click here for Rabbi Bellino's fasting tips. We remind you that the kitchen and social hall will be available as a place to store food and/or eat or drink if you are unable to or should not fast on Yom Kippur.
 

Please be sure to enter the synagogue thru the main doors. If you must use the side door, please ask security for assistance. Although Kol Nidre is called for 6:10 PM, we recommend that you come and sit a bit early.
 

We have made every effort to preserve your customary seats.

  • To view your Yom Kippur seats, click here.
  • There will be maps/charts in the back of the room, and your reserved seats have been labeled, but it's probably a good idea to check out your seat location before you come.
  • If you wish to change your seat, be sure to stop by your original seat and claim your seat and Kol Nidre appeal cards.
  • Keep in mind that we are still seating people, so don't panic if you don't yet see your name. There is a tab on the spreadsheet listing people that still need to be accommodated. We will get to you shortly. To discuss any special seating needs or requests that you may have, please e-mail us.
  • Reserved seats are free with membership. Additional reserved seats for members are $125 and $250 for non-members. If you do not have a reserved seat, we are still happy to welcome you. To make a payment, please send a check or make a donation on our website.
If you recently sponsored a Machzor, you will have one waiting for you at your seat. Even though our Machzor inventory is extensive, if you have your own, please consider bringing it. We are expecting a large turnout.
 

We plan to provide childcare on Tuesday, October 8th, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM and then on Wednesday, October 9th, from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM and 4:20 PM to 7:20 PM. Please remember that only children and their parents/guardians are allowed in the Beit Midrash during these hours.

 
We thank all those of you who have helped us prepare for Yom Tov. We are especially grateful to: Cori Robinson for providing the flowers; Arezoo & Sam Jesselson for sponsoring the Break-Fast (in celebration of the birthday of their son, Adir), Choni Bellino, Sara Liss, Amir Nakash, and Elie Yudewitz, for helping us to prepare our sanctuary; Ke$het Bellino for polishing our silver; Neil Kitainik and Grace Auerbach for their administrative assistance; our building manager, Vincenzo Aiosa, and his team for the essential and aesthetic improvements they continue to make; Rabbi Gavriel Bellino for his leadership and vision, and the many of you who have chosen to spend Yom Kippur with us.
 
Finally, We wish a Mazal Tov to Sara Eisen & Matthew Levine on the birth this week of a boy. The Brit Milah will be held on Yom Kippur. We welcome all those of you

Following the Torah Reading and a Brit Milah, Rav Andrew Scheer will deliver the Yom Kippur Day Sermon.
