By now your inboxes have surely been inundated by countless Jewish and secular charities gently reminding you that 2015 is ending and that now would be a financially responsible time to settle your outstanding balances and/or make end of the year donations.

We at Sixth Street are above such hackneyed convention and desperate fundraising efforts. We know that you require no reminder of financial planning nor do you need to read about how our home, the Sixth Street Community Synagogue, has emerged as a thoughtful, caring, and important locus of downtown Judaism.

Consider this a simple thank you for a wonderful 2015. It was year filled with growth, increased relevance, beautiful davening, sophisticated Torah study, A-list speakers, well attended parties, delicious kiddushes, as well as important structural and aesthetic improvements to our 168 year old building. We are sure that with your continued devotion, 2016 will be even better.
