Jessica Tamar Deutsch is a New York based artist. Her work explores the intersection of ancient Jewish practice and contemporary culture. She earned her BFA in illustration at Parsons School of Design. Deutsch has completed residencies with Art Kibbuts, Brandeis Collegiate Institute, and was included in The Jewish Week’s 36 under 36 in 2018. The Illustrated Pirkei Avot, A Graphic Novel of Jewish Ethics, is her first published book.

Join us for a Rosh Chodesh Kislev art book party with our friend Jessica Tamar Deutsch. Several of Jessica's paintings and drawings will be on display including images from her latest watercolor series.

Copies of her book ׳פלא׳ will be available for purchase. ׳פלא׳ is an illustrated depiction of teachings from Rabbi Nachman of Breslov. It is a journey of self exploration and connecting with the mysterious unlimited potential of each being.
Expect thoughtful art, deep torah, wine and beer, all sorts of snacks, and some amazing musical enhancement!
