This Rosh Hashana we are excited to partner with Dr. Michelle & Rabbi Yehuda Sarna, Corinne Shmuel & Rabbi Joe Wolfson, and the NYU community. Rabbi Sarna will daven Mussaf both days, Dr. Sarna will speak on the second day, and Rabbi Wolfson will teach in the afternoon of the second day.
We have made every effort to preserve your customary seats. To view your Rosh Hashana seats, click here.
Reserved seats are free with membership. Additional reserved seats for members are $125 and $250 for non-members. If you do not have a reserved seat, we are still happy to welcome you. To make a payment, please send a check or make a donation on our website. To discuss any special seating needs or requests that you may have, please e-mail us.
Please be sure to enter the synagogue thru the main doors. If you must use the side door, please ask our security guard for assistance.
We plan to provide childcare from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Only children and their parents/guardians are permitted in the Beit Midrash during these hours.
Rosh Hashana is a long day - and lacking in kiddush. There are also many new people to meet. Why not come back later in the day - 5:00 PM on the first day of Rosh Hashana - for some honey cake and a cocktail? This year's party has been sponsored by Dr. Sara & Michael Aingorn in celebration of the Downtown Community.
We are grateful to many of you who have helped us prepare for Yom Tov. We are especially grateful to: Brenda Pance and Gloria Karpas for providing the flowers; Shimmy Rapps, Richard McBee, and David Landis, for helping us to prepare our sacntuary; Dr. Sara & Michael Aingorn for sponsoring our New Year's party; Neil Kitainik & Grace Auerbach for their administrative assistance; and our building manager, Vincenzo Aiosa, and his team for the essential and aesthetic improvements they continue to make for us.
