Summary |
Our Sixth Street Community Synagogue continues to flourish. We have enjoyed meaningful and efficient services, serious and thoughtful Torah study, high profile speakers, Shabbatons, delicious Kiddushes, and festive celebrations. We have improved the appearance and safety of our building, and we are constantly working to schedule nuanced and attractive programming. We have collaborated with important organizations, and continue to enjoy much attention as a center of NY religious life.
Besides the great efforts of our leadership and the important participation of our members and friends, our success has been predicated on the generosity of our membership as well as the support of the larger Jewish community. Will you be able to help us celebrate our accomplishments and secure our continued vitality?
Our Annual Dinner will be held on March 30th, 2020. This year, we will honor Dr. Ashira Lubkin & Alan Feder, and Julia & Shlomi Salant.
Your support would be directly applied to the strengthening of a rebuilding community and the reinforcement of its 174 year old building. We remind you that any amount helps our efforts and lifts our spirits.
Please RSVP here (Be sure to specify the number in your party and any dietary accommodations that you might require).
If you cannot attend, we ask that you please join us in this fundraising initiative. As always, you may mail in payment or proceed to our website.
With gratitude for your faithful friendship and support,
Vivian Klaus & Joan Nachmani (Committee Co-chairs)
