Pesach is less than 3 weeks away. Power of Attorney forms for the sale of Chametz may be found hereAlthough there is a widespread custom to pay the rabbi who facilitates the sale ofchametz, Rabbi Bellino urges that you not do so. Instead, please feel free (but not obligated) to contribute to his Discretionary Fund. The most convenient way to do so is online. Be sure to specify that this is a Pesach donation to the Discretionary Fund.

We are happy to announce that we have a newly created Ner Tamid installed in our Beit Midrash. This brass and copper artwork by renown Judaica artist and sculptor, David Klass (synagogueart.com), was crafted specifically to be hung over our ark to allow the carved 10 Commandments to be better seen. It replaces the previous Ner Tamid whose size unfortunately was a hazard for individuals taking the Torah out of the ark.

We are proud to be a member synagogue of The Downtown Va'ad, an Orthodox rabbinic network, founded by Rabbis Sarna & Bellino, intended to advance the welfare and flourishing of the Downtown Jewish community. For more information or to learn about Downtown happenings and collaborative efforts, follow the Va'ad on Facebook.
