"The Mystery of San Nicandro"
A group of Italian Roman Catholics in a small village underwent a mass conversion to Judaism in Fascist Italy, observing Jewish practices for 20 years, and emigrated to Israel in 1949. After years of believing in another faith how do ordinary people give themselves over to a new way of worshiping? How did their mentor, a crippled cobbler from San Nicandro, change the lives of hundreds of people? Q&A with Rabbi Gavriel Bellino following the viewing.
