Congratulations to all of you who TODAY have completed the Book of I Samuel as part of our Tanakh Yomi program.
We will begin the Book of II Samuel on MONDAY (11/24).
Even if you skipped I Samuel (basically, a theocratic reality show where Israel insists on getting a king “like all the nations,” only to discover monarchy is just prophecy with worse PR—featuring Saul’s tragic spiral, David’s meteoric rise, and God’s ongoing struggle with human hiring decisions) please consider learning II Samuel with us. To enhance your study and/or keep things straight, I have prepared the following resources that can also be found on our Tanakh Yomi page.
Book of II Samuel: Brief Outline - Detailed Outline - Key Figures - Key Places
BTW, our schedule has us starting I Kings on 12/5, so stay strong!
Blessings, GZB
