Join us for a Tu B'Shvat edition of our Monday Night Lecture Series next week, January 25 at 7:00 PM. Seth M. Siegel will discuss his New York Times bestselling book, Let There Be Water: Israel’s Solution for a Water-Starved World in conversation with Sixth Street member, Annie Watman, followed by a book signing and Tu B'Shvat snacks.
With 60% of Israel being desert, the country has been jumping ahead of the water innovation curve for decades while much of the rest of the world is in crisis. Let There Be Water provides a model for solving these worldwide water problems, showing how Israel managed to turn water from a burden to an opportunity and became an example for other countries to follow.
This event costs $20, and includes a copy of Let There Be Water: Israel’s Solution for a Water-Starved World. RSVP and pay by this Friday, January 22nd: http://www.sixthstreetsynagogue.org/event/let-there-be-water.html.
