Community News

In these tragic and scary times we stand with Israel and all those victimized by senseless hatred and fanaticism. We pray for safety, healing, and peace. Please join us at all of our services for our recitations of additional Psalms.

We wish a Mazal Tov to Ashira Lubkin & Alan Feder on the birth, Brit Mila, and naming of their son, Matan Yehoshua Feder. To see pictures of last Sunday's Brit, click here.

Friday night services are super early. (This week at 4:15 PM). Please help us to ensure that our service begins on time. Expect to be rewarded with snacks, drinks, as well as some Torah study and song.

Our Chanukah Party was a great success. We are grateful to: Alan Schwartz, Sara & Michael Aingorn, and Julia & Shlomi Salant for sponsoring. Rabbi Bellino, Mike Miles, & Dr. Jeremy Block for organizing. The Promenade Sports bar for hosting. The 130+ people who attended.

To see pictures of this successful event, click here.

There will be a Chanukah breakfast for children and their families in synagogue on Sunday morning. Please contact Rabbi Bellino for more information or to RSVP.

We are excited to upgrade our Siddur collection with the addition of 100 Koren Siddurim. These prayer books are available for sponsorship at the reduced rate of $25 per book. Please email  Rabbi Bellino with your requests and and questions.

Kiddushes on Sixth Street - always plentiful and delicious - greatly enhance our synagogue and community. The next available Kiddush for sponsorship is January 9th, Parashat Vaera. To sponsor or co-sponsor a Friday night Kiddush, a Shabbat Kiddush, a Shabbocktail, or a Seudah Shelishit, contact Rabbi Bellino.
