Autumn is here, and now Friday night davening is getting earlier! This week Rabbi Bellino will lead us in a Carlebach-style Kabbalat Shabbat in observance of Shlomo Carlebach's 21st yahretzeit. Expect snacks, drinks, and some Torah study and song. This week we look forward to a short dvar Torah from Mike Miles.

We were honored to have Wendy Amsellem last Shabbat as our first Shabbat Scholar of 5776. Wendy's thoughtful presentations were excitedly delivered and remarkably clear. Please continue to learn from her, as well as her wonderful colleagues, at the Drisha Institute.

The next Shabbat Scholar Shabbaton is December 4-5 and will feature Rav Yehuda Gilad, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivat Ma'ale Gilboa and rabbi of Kibbutz Lavi. More details to follow. These Shabbatonim are sponsored by a generous bequest made by Garry Roemer.

Please continue to support our Kol Nidrei Appeal. You may send checks to 325 East 6th Street, New York NY 10003, or pay online. If you have not yet paid for your membership or for your holiday seats, please do so ASAP. For more information, please contact our treasurer, Haim Shechtman, or Rabbi Bellino.

Kiddush. They are delicious and they enhance our community. The next available Kiddush for sponsorship is November 14th, Parashat Toldot. To plan a kiddush, a Shabbocktail, or a Seudah Shelishit, contact Rabbi Bellino.
