News and Events

Shavuot immediately follows this Shabbat.

Shavuot Dinner and Late Night Torah Study: The dairy dinner will follow an 8:40 PM Maariv and will begin at 9:15 PM. Following dinner, Rabbi Bellino will teach until midnight; this year's topic is Coffee Talk: Stimulating Percolations of Jewish Laws, History, and Culture of Coffee. Dinner costs $35 per adult. Please RSVP here ASAP.

Women's Wine and Cheese Event: Please join the women of Sixth Street from 4:00 - 6:00 PM on Sunday, May 24th. Bring your own wine/spirits and your thirst for a great time with friends and neighbors in the Social Hall.

Annual Membership Meeting: This will take place at the Synagogue on Thursday, June 25 at 7:30 PM. All members in good standing (dues paid for 2014 - 2015) will elect the Officers, Board of Trustees, and Advisory Board. Please make every effort to attend.

Israel Awareness Committee: A new committee, co-chaired by Jeff Katz and Annie Watman, has been created to strengthen our synagogue's identification with the State of Israel's culture, people, challenges, and history. There will be a bi-monthly Israel Awareness Reading Group, meeting for the first time toward the end of this month.
