TOT SHABBAT THIS WEEK! Join us this Shabbat at 10:30 AM in the Sixth Street Synagogue Beit Midrash for tefilot, songs, Torah face-time, Shabbat games, and kiddush. Then come upstairs for Ein Kelokainu. All children are invited up close to the shul's Torahs during Anim Zemirot and Adon Olam.
Fast of Tammuz - Sunday, July 1st: The fast this Sunday starts at 3:40 AM and ends at 9:08 PM. Shacharit will start as usual at 7:30 AM. With many of our minyan regulars away for the summer, your presence at Shacharit would greatly help the minyan, and also enable those saying Kaddish to do so.
Membership Meeting: The annual meeting of our membership took place this past Wednesday. We elected one new officer (Elie Yudewitz) and several members to our Board of Trustees and Advisory Board. We congratulate them and thank them for their service.

Torah Readers: We are looking for men who can prepare to read at Shabbat Mincha (and possibly at Shacharit during the week as well) throughout the year. A schedule of readers is being maintained. If you can commit to any dates, please contact Rabbi Bellino. We are grateful to Amir Koren who will read this week. The next available Mincha leining is on July 7th (the afternoon reading is Matot). We are looking for women to prepare aliyot for a Women’s Torah Reading in the near future. Rabbi Bellino is happy to help anyone learn how to prepare a reading.
Our plentiful and delicious Kiddushes on Sixth Street greatly enhance our synagogue and community. To sponsor or to co-sponsor a Friday night Kiddush, a Shabbat Kiddush, a Shabbocktail, our Shabbat Shabeer supply, or a Seudah Shelishit, contact Rabbi Bellino. July 22nd - Tisha b'Av Program with Drisha Institute
On Tisha b'Av day, we will partner with the Drisha Institute for Jewish Education, for a full day of programming, including Kinot recitation and discussion, multiple classes, and a film screening. All are welcome to attend.

Classes
FOUNDATIONS OF JUDAISM: A sensitive and sophisticated introduction to Judaism, intended for beginners, and focusing on many of the ritual, legal, linguistic, and philosophical basics of our faith. Wednesdays 6:30-8:00 PM (resumes July 11th).
AVOT: Rabbi Bellino will present the five chapters of Avot and Perek Kinyan HaTorah over the next 6 Shabbatot. After Shavuot he will teach Avot d'Rabbi Natan for the duration of the summer. Shabbat afternoons, 1 hour before Mincha.
SHACHARIT: Miriam Kaplan on Shacharit, the daily morning prayer. Shabbat, following Kiddush.
