In two weeks, on Shabbat HaGadol, March 23-24, we welcome as our Shabbat Scholar-in-Residence, Dena Weiss, Rosh Beit Midrash and Director of Fellowship Programs at Mechon Hadar, where she teaches Talmud, Midrash and Hasidut. She also serves as the editor-in-chief of the Mima'amakim journal of Jewish religious art.
Please join us on Friday night for a delicious and social Community Shabbat Dinner, and join us as well over Shabbat for a thought-provoking series of talks and discussions on Passover and other themes.
Reservations for the dinner should be made by Tuesday, March 20th.

This Shabbaton includes:
- Mincha/Kabbalat Shabbat at 6:55 PM
- Friday night dinner in shul at 8:00 PM (RSVP and payment required)
- Lecture at 9:30 PM (free – all are welcome)
- Shabbat morning sermon at 10:30 AM
- Q & A discussion at Seudah Shelishit at 6:30 PM

Q & A with Dena Weiss
Dena Weiss
Dena Weiss is Rosh Beit Midrash and Director of Fellowship Programs at Mechon Hadar, where she teaches Talmud, Midrash and Hasidut. Dena earned a BA in Religious Studies from New York University and an MA in Theology from Harvard Divinity School. She has studied and taught in a variety of Jewish educational settings including Drisha, Midreshet Lindenbaum, and Pardes. She currently serves as the editor-in-chief of the Mima'amakim journal of Jewish religious art.
