In two weeks, on Shabbat Ki Tissa, Friday March 2nd, we will host a Meet Your Neighbors Shabbat Dinner which will bring together our Jewish community with people who are experiencing homelessness. Through dinner, song, and conversation, we will enjoy the unique opportunity to meet our neighbors!
Meet Your Neighbors dinners are a facet of the unique vision of our friend Adina Licthman, founder of Knock Knock Give a Sock, an organization dedicated to collecting socks for those in need and committed to ending the stigma surrounding homelessness.
This dinner will be held in memory of Henry Zilberman ז"ל, beloved father of Tali Zilberman. Henry tried to get to know and welcome each and every person, regardless of their circumstances; and so, this is a fitting tribute.
Registration includes dinner for you and for a neighbor from a local shelter.
