Dear friends,
With the summer approaching, it is once again time for us to encourage synagogue membership; to ask that you please formalize and renew your annual commitments.
This has been a remarkable year. Together, we have experienced a growing community, delicious kiddushes, meaningful services, insightful classes, festive parties, engaging children’s programming, and respected and inspiring speakers. We have made several essential repairs, as well as aesthetic improvements, to our 170 year old building. We are most grateful to the many of you who stepped up to join our leadership, who attended our services, contributed financially, strengthened our community through your presence, and made our synagogue a true center of thoughtful Orthodox Judaism.
Membership dues go a long way in making all of this possible. Won’t you please share in our great legacy and help us continue this impressive revitalization? There are, of course, various membership options and we hope that one works for you.
Level | Before June 26 | After June 26 |
Family | $900 | $800 |
Individual | $500 | $450 |
Associate | $300 | $300 |
Student | $150 | $150 |
Should you prefer, membership payments may be made in installments. This is easily set up through our website (sixthstreetsynagogue.org). Payment may be made on the site, or by mailing a check to 325 East 6th Street, New York, NY 10003). Should you have any questions, please contact our treasurer, Alan Schwartz, or our Rabbi.
We invite all members in good standing to attend our annual membership meeting and election of officers, which will be held in the synagogue on June 26th, 2017.
We thank you for being a part of our great success,
