While we continue to safely operate our modified and socially distant services, we must acknowledge the recent increased positivity rates, locally and abroad. It is for this reason that we have decided to voluntarily close our building THIS Shabbat (11/28), so that we may create some protective distance and reevaluate our operating policies and plans for services.

We believe that this is an appropriately cautious measure, one that demonstrates our acknowledgment of the realities that we continue to face, and our continuous commitment to act boldly (and creatively) to protect our community, our neighborhood, and beyond.

We ask that you not overwhelm other synagogues in our neighborhood and that you continue to maintain rigorous social distancing practices.

Sixth Street Community Synagogue

We like to think we're different. Everyone from the traditionally Orthodox to the occasionally observant feels at home here - 365 days a year. We hope you do too.
