Dear friends,
As we begin a new cycle of Torah reading and study, I ask that you consider joining our synagogue in Tanakh Yomi, our (almost) daily study of Bible. Several years ago, I decided to fill a significant gap in my Jewish education and devised this Tanakh Yomi program.
Here's how it works: Follow the Torah reading every Shabbat, read approximately 3 chapters of Prophets/Writings Sunday thru Friday, and you will finish the entire Bible within a year.
To keep everyone on the same page, I have generated a schedule. It includes the daily readings as well as several days after each book for rest and "catch-up."
Please plan for your completion of Tanakh on Shabbat Nitzavim, October 1st, 2016.
Blessings, GZB
