Rosh Hashana is a long day - and lacking in kiddush. There are also many new people to meet. Why not come back later in the day - 5:30 PM on the first day of Rosh Hashana - for some honey cake and a cocktail? This year's party has been sponsored by Dr. Sara & Michael Aingorn in celebration of the Downtown Community.
This Rosh Hashana we will be joined by Rabbis Yehuda Sarna and Joe Wolfson as well as several students from the NYU community. Rabbi Sarna will lead Shacharit and speak on the second day of Yom Tov.
We are grateful to many of of you who have helped us prepare for Yom Tov. We are especially grateful to:
- Brenda Pance and Gloria Karpas for providing the flowers.
- Esther & Marty Tessler for dry cleaning parochets and polishing our mechitza.
- Shimmy Rapps, Richard McBee, Rachel Rochlin, Haim Shechtman, Henry Frank, David Landis, and David Lessman for helping us to prepare our sacntuary.
- Mike Miles for managing our publicity efforts.
- Dr. Sara & Michael Aingorn for sponsoring our New Year's party.
