There are all sorts of activities planned for this next round of Yom Tov. Please join us! Ok. Deep breath.
- Community Simchat Torah Party & Hakafot - Expect snacks, drinks, and a great crowd. Hakafot will begin at approximately 7:30 PM. We are grateful to Zach Dukoff, Alan "Bubbles" Schwartz, Daniella & Joseph Bedros, Shelly & Elie Yudewitz, Ke$het & Choni Bellino, Christina & Akiva Katz, Kristina & Daniel Gerschel, and Jonathan Falik, for sponsoring the bar. Monday, October 1st, starting at 6:00 PM.
- Simchat Torah Kids' Dinner - The little ones need real food, so bring them for some kid friendly food and all the grape juice you'll let them drink. Monday, October 1st, at 6:00 PM. We are grateful to Alan "Bubbles" Schwartz for sponsoring this dinner.
- Hakafot After-Party - If you've lasted this long you will be rewarded with a Hot Dog. Tuesday, October 2nd? We're gonna play this by ear...
- Super Secret Pre-Hakafot Coffee Kiddush - By this point we will all need a little gas in the tank; but don't tell anyone. Tuesday, October 2nd, at 9:45 AM. We are grateful to Ananda & Jeremy Watman for sponsoring the Rugelach and Elsewhere Espresso Coffee.
- Women's Torah Reading and Aliyot - The Sixth Street Women will meet in the Beit Midrash to read Torah and all women are invited for aliyot. If you are able to read any or all of it, let us know. If you are unsure of the procedure, please click here for an instructional video. Tuesday, October 2nd, at 10:30 AM. We are grateful to Dr. Ashira Lubkin for organizing this.
- Kids' Hakafa - The Kommunity Kinder will dance their way to their own Aliyah. It's literally the cutest thing that happens all year. Tuesday, October 2nd, at approximately 11:00 AM. We are grateful to Alan "Bubbles" Schwartz for sponsoring this Hakafa.
- Simchat Torah Kiddush - You finished and restarted the Torah, you deserve some deliciousness. Tuesday, October 2nd, at approximately 12:30 PM.
