News

We wish a Mazal Tov to Keshet Bellino on her Bat Mitzvah. Mazal Tov to her grandparents, Norma & Victor Bellino, her parents, Cori Robinson & Gavriel Bellino, her older brother, Choni Bellino, and to her extended family and adoring fans.

Keshet will (re-)read Torah at 11:00 AM, immediately following Shabbat morning services. All are invited for kiddush following the Bat Mitzvah and then a community party at 8:30 PM.

We are grateful to all those who joined us this past Sunday for the Annual Jacob Neusner Memorial Lecture, especially to Professor Susannah Heschel for her thought-provoking lecture and to Professor Shai Secunda for facilitating the event.

Please consider participating in our Kol Nidrei Campaign. Your support is essential - not only for our continued success - but to help us in our much needed re-building. We remind you that any amount helps our efforts and lifts our spirits.

Save The Date(s)

November 12: Tot Shabbat will be run by an educator and will inspire and entertain children ages zero to six. Tot Shabbat will meet in the Beit Midrash from 10:15-11:00 and will be followed by the Kommunity Kinder Kiddush Klub. Expect Shabbat songs, games, and all sorts of cuteness. We are grateful to the Aingorn Family for their attention to this important part of Sixth Street's functioning.

Sixth Street Community Synagogue

We like to think we're different. Everyone from the traditionally Orthodox to the occasionally observant feels at home here - 365 days a year. We hope you do too.
