Beer fest + Lag BaOmer = Lager BaOmer at Sixth Street Synagogue. The second annual event will be a fun time for all craft beer enthusiasts and students of Beer Yochai, also featuring Israeli craft brews. We will also be putting on a barbecue, in Lag BaOmer style.

Cost of Admission: One six pack (or growler) of craft or premium import beer gets you a small tasting cup and unlimited pours (while supplies last). Do not bring any bad beer. We're serious. You will be turned away at the door and asked to acquire approved beer if you bring anything on the official prohibited beers list.

Your beers will be judged by our Tribeernal. The best beer from each category will be selected. If you brought it, then you will receive a prize.

2) Pale Ale / IPA
3) Wheat
4) Medium beers: brown ale, amber/red, blonde
5) Dark/heavy beers: stout, porter, barley-wine, Scotch ale/Wee Heavy
6) Belgian
7) Gluten Free
8) Other (sours, chili, fruit beer)
