Congratulations to all of you who have completed the Book of II Kings as part of our Tanakh Yomi program. We begin the Book(s) of Isaiah TODAY. (See the schedule).
Even if you skipped II Kings (basically, a whirlwind of collapsing kingdoms, clueless monarchs, fiery prophets, foreign invasions, and one long, slow-motion reminder that ignoring every warning ever given is an excellent way to lose your throne, your Temple, and your national dignity), please consider learning Isaiah with us. To enhance your study and/or keep things straight, I have prepared the following resources that can also be found on our Tanakh Yomi page.
Isaiah: Brief Outline - Detailed Outline - Key Figures - Key Places
The Three Worlds (Books) of Isaiah
Isaiah is a sweeping prophetic mixtape where fiery warnings, visionary poetry, and cosmic hope collide as the prophet tells kings, empires, and pretty much everyone on earth to stop being terrible, trust God, and get ready for both judgment and redemption on an epic, universe-level scale. It's 66 chapters long, so we are going to be at this for a while.
Blessings, GZB
