Congratulations to all of you who have completed the Book of I Kings as part of our Tanakh Yomi program. We begin the Book of II Kings on TODAY.
Even if you skipped I Kings (basically, a whirlwind of collapsing kingdoms, clueless monarchs, fiery prophets, foreign invasions, and one long, slow-motion reminder that ignoring every warning ever given is an excellent way to lose your throne, your Temple, and your national dignity), please consider learning II Kings with us. To enhance your study and/or keep things straight, I have prepared the following resources that can also be found on our Tanakh Yomi page.
Book of II Kings: Brief Outline - Detailed Outline - Key Figures - Key Places
All Kings of Israel - Kings of Judah - Kings of Northern Kingdom
FYI, our schedule has us starting Isaiah on 12/28, so stay strong!
Blessings, GZB
