News

Micro Minyan will meet this Shabbat! We are grateful to Tali Zilberman for leading and organizing this facet of our children's programming. Micro Minyan begins at 10:30 AM and generally meets on alternating Shabbatot. There will be a  Kommunity Kinder Kiddush Klub immediately following.

Our Tanakh Yomi program is currently studying the Book of Jeremiah on Sunday. (See the schedule). Even if you skipped Isaiah (basically, a sweeping prophetic mixtape where fiery warnings, visionary poetry, and cosmic hope collide as the prophet tells kings, empires, and pretty much everyone on earth to stop being terrible, trust God, and get ready for both judgment and redemption on an epic, universe-level scale) please consider learning Jeremiah with us. To enhance your study and/or keep things straight, I have prepared the following resources that can also be found on our Tanakh Yomi page.

Book of Jeremiah: Brief Outline - Detailed Outline - Key Figures - Key Places
            Prophetic Metaphors - Extracted History

Jeremiah is the raw, emotional chronicle of a prophet begging a stubborn nation to change course while simultaneously watching his city burn, his warnings ignored, his enemies multiply, and his own heart break—yet somehow still insisting that hope isn’t dead.

Both the Tuesday Night Genesis Rabbah Class and the Wednesday Night Foundations Classes will meet this week.

CholentFest XII - The Bat Mitzvah - is Next Shabbat!

Challenge last year's winner of the CholentFest Eydel Ladle to claim the ladle and the respect of your peers. Taste all the delicious cholents at Kiddush on February 7th. Email Rabbi Bellino to sign up as a chef and to get the preparation info. This is not a Cholent Eating competition.
